NICOLE KELLY RIP 24 MARCH 2010
This is Nicole Kelly, one of our students. The above photo is part of a class photo taken just a few weeks ago. She was fourteen and in Second year. Her friends say she was wild but lovely, mad about boys and full of life. Last night she was late getting home and took a short cut, was knocked down at about 9.00 p.m. and pronounced dead a few hours later. Her death is a huge shock to us all, above all to her parents. Please remember them in your prayers.
It is all too easy to forget how fragile life is and how easily we can be propelled from this world into the presence of God. Just as easily we can by our actions propel someone else from this world. Driving home to-day I was thinking about that, how easy it would be to make a mistake, be careless, or just unfortunate, and kill someone with my car.
At any moment we may lose our loved ones therefore we ought to cherish them. At any moment we may lose our lives therefore we ought to live life at the ready to go and stand before God.
